Three Little Pigs "offensive"

Yes, sadly true. And in a further development, Pink Floyd have been forced to rename the opening track of their classic 1977 album, Animals, as Cats on the Wing.

Great album. You had to be there at the time, but great nonetheless.

Quite agree. Everyone always raves about DSOTM and WYWH but for me, Dogs from Side 1 of Animals is the best thing Floyd ever did. And I'm just about old enough to remember the flying pig stunt, too

Left-over middle class 60s hippie trash, infinging on the 70s Punk era. "You had to be there at the time" - I was and it was irrelevant - competely out of date.

I was only a young lad for heavens sake. I didn't even know what "middle class 60s hippie trash" was. Still don't.

"You've got to be crazy, gotta have a real need, gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the streets, got to be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed."

- Opening line of "Dogs." Was there ever a better description of the essential nature of politics (or political journalism for that matter)?
