Heading for the sun

It's a winter holiday for the Linfords this year, for reasons that will become obvious later in the year, so barring the odd internet cafe excursion blogging will be light over the next week or so.

In the meantime, I leave you in the very capable hands of the following:

Labour leadership speculation - Political Betting
Insightful political analysis - Skipper
English nationalism - Toque
Christian socialism - Mars Hill
Blogging about blogging - Bloggerheads
Interesting minutiae - Dizzy Thinks
Tory gossip - Iain Dale
Labour gossip - Tom Watson
Lib Dem gossip Jonathan Calder
Any old bollocks - UK Daily Pundit

Whether insightful or not I'm not sure Paul, but certainly political analysis. Have a lovely holiday and hope the weather is better when you get back- assuming you are going beyond our grey and cloudy frontiers.

Have a good one Paul. And thanks for the compliment. That's the nicest thing anyone's said about my blog since Iain Dale said "you couldn't make it up. But the Daily Pundit has."

Paul, this is a great blog, but do you think you could have a look at security sometime? I've just voted in your Labour leadership poll, only for a virus to try to download itself when it took me to the results page.

Yes, I have the utterly useless IE7 (which has reinforced my determination to switch to an Apple Mac the next time I switch computer) but my computer security is fairly decent when I've got AVG.

In the meantime, have a great holiday. This is a must-read blog for any thoughtful social democrat.

Paul

It's always a good idea to announce your holidays so that burglars can empty your flat :-)

Well I guess the crime rate in Belper is quite low.

Well, I'm pleased to say I've not been burgled Dirk, but thanks for your concern.

I generally tend to assume that most readers of this blog (i) are not burglars, and (ii) don't actually know my home address.
